Even though it’s still one year away, Disney and ABC revealed a trailer for the next and final season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. at D23 Expo!
The teaser for the final season goes back in time to 1931, showing a stand-off between Chronicom and the NYPD of that era. The trailer seems to cycle through different periods in history–as the team itself is implied to do at the end of season 6–and even teases the return of HYDRA.
The final season starts Summer 2020.

Who is the actor playing the Chronicom with the lines? He looks super familiar.
Unfortunately, 1931 is too early to see Peggy Carter. Hopefully they’ll travel more in time until we can see her (the What If might be fun, but it won’t have Phil Coulson meeting his hero)
